I have been up close and personal with this machine at Stratford and can tell you it's as good as it looks and starts first time every time with a swing of the prop. Runs on the smell of an oily rag and then some.

Now some not so good news and I don't usually report such things but Jodel D9 ZK-CHX as gone down. Some may think it is still attached to Stratford as it was here for a good few years. This is not the case and has been based at Te-Anau with new owner George Batchelor since 2012 . Heres the News from Fiordland Aero Clubs and pictures.
