Some news from Jodel Central TOKOROA. Karl B has been busy rebuilding 0200,s of late. Looking dam fine nice work.



Tony A has been busy with the re engine of  D-18 ZK-OWL having biffed the E81 out and fitting a AeroVee VW derived power plant in. New engine mount shown here.



Bruce C has been busy getting used to his new ride Jodel D18 ZK-JAC. He reports fitting of a new brake system so should all good to go once completing his rating.


Now up for sale is Jodel D11 ZK-DYB ex Graham French built machine based currently outa NZPP.

Having Flown this back in the day Thanks Graham it was a hoot.

Like all of us time has caught up with another Aviation Pioneer in the homebuilt world. News from Australia with the passing of Mr Jodel Australia FRANK ROGERS has punched off the planet for the last time.  In Australia Frank Rogers redrew the plans of most of the homebuilt variants (D9/11/150, DR1050, and later the D18/19) to anglicise the building instructions and dimensions. Now some not so good news and I don't usually report such things but Jodel D9 ZK-CHX as gone down. Some may think it is still attached to Stratford as it was here for a good few years. This is not the case and has been based at Te-Anau with new owner George Batchelor since 2012 . Heres the News from Fiordland Aero Clubs and pictures.
