Sunday RVH,EDR,SNW and ETC whipped on down to Waverly Beach aera as there is an all weather strip there. This being part of an old road. RWY's are 09/27 it'about 600metres with the 09 end offering about 200 more just slightly rougher.


The strip is next to where the ole Iron Sands building is. About 500 metres from the beach.

Now some not so good news and I don't usually report such things but Jodel D9 ZK-CHX as gone down. Some may think it is still attached to Stratford as it was here for a good few years. This is not the case and has been based at Te-Anau with new owner George Batchelor since 2012 . Heres the News from Fiordland Aero Clubs and pictures.
