FOR SALE # JODEL D-11 ZK-EDR

This excellent flying machine is very reluctantly FOR SALE as life has dictated I must. She is in superb condition and I venture to say one of the best JODELS around. As you can see she keeps good company. Yes that is Gate 19 at the terminal at WN.

The lil dear has been around since 1975 and was born in CHCH.

She is wearing a delightful Orange , White, Black outfit which is very striking and can be seen from a good distance. As you can see she has a Graphic on the rudder which is vinyl and can be removed if you so desire.

She is powered by Rolls Royce 0200 100hp engine. Aircraft total time in service 1400hrs. Engine 1200.

Equipped with 3 tanks. Main in behind firewall and 2 X wing tanks total 110 Litres 107 usable. Range is 4 and ¾ hours includes 45 minute reserve.

Cruise speed is 90kts at 2400 to 2500 rpm. She stalls 28kts. She is fitted with 700 size tires so can land on just about anything and is fitted with a Maule tail wheel.

Jody comes with her very own evening wear from Barsal in Te Kowhai. Covers everything from the engine cowl back to the trailing edge of the wing. One person can fit it 5 minutes. Also comes with Monogrammed Caps with EDR on them. I have also have Flying overalls emblazoned with EDR if you want or fit them. What ever the plane has required she has got and then some.

She is sold in a as is where is condition with fresh 100 hourly completed July 2010. Radio and txpder (Terra) tested at 100 hourly, also compass swing and new bake shoes and wheel bearings. Has 406 ELT. I have done 171 hours odd since June 2008 so she ain't been sitting. She has 70 plus flights over Mt Egmont/Taranaki to 9000 ft still climbing to her credit. Always Hangared

Offers from $45k ONO thanks. Or give me a ring and we will have a chat as she needs to be sold so talking a bit of Turkey ya might be pleasantly surprised.

Over the years much information has come in from Australia and New Zealand concerning the success of Frank's 'Sky' series – the Sky Queen, Sky King, and Sky Prince as they are named.
