This just in from Keith.

Dennis Moore's rebuilt Jodel D-11ZK-FHB at Feilding.
This has been a very long term rebuild for Dennis after it crashed landed at Colyton near Feilding in 1998 when a blade (went on holiday unexpectedly) detached from it's Propeller

Looks great.

A Tim Gorman Pic.

Tim sent some more shots of FHB
cheers Fella.

News from Australia with the passing of Mr Jodel Australia FRANK ROGERS has punched off the planet for the last time.  In Australia Frank Rogers redrew the plans of most of the homebuilt variants (D9/11/150, DR1050, and later the D18/19) to anglicise the building instructions and dimensions. Over the years much information has come in from Australia and New Zealand concerning the success of Frank's 'Sky' series – the Sky Queen, Sky King, and Sky Prince as they are named. Incidentally, in the Sky series provision was made for the Continental engines to be replaced by Lycoming power, coping rather better with the higher local ambient temperatures. Now some not so good news and I don't usually report such things but Jodel D9 ZK-CHX as gone down. Some may think it is still attached to Stratford as it was here for a good few years. This is not the case and has been based at Te-Anau with new owner George Batchelor since 2012 . Heres the News from Fiordland Aero Clubs and pictures. All I can say is Lucky boy and how he got outa that well...... http://fiordlandaeroclub.weebly.com/news.html
